One of my favorite clients recently said to me that they love the way I always bring them new ideas or a different twist. With that in mind, combined with an interview I just listened to, I had this little brain storm this morning and just had to share it with you!
I know many of you send out postcards on your new listings, then again when they go under contract, and again when it’s sold. Great idea, right? Actually it can be, but make sure there’s something unique about your postcards that will make people want to check out what you have to say.
Instead of just putting the same information on your postcard, have you added links to your social media presence? This could be a new twist on the old school marketing many did when they first started real estate.
Perhaps an even better idea is to send out postcards to your past clients telling them how much you really want to have them join your Facebook business page or community. Maybe you can connect on Twitter. Perhaps they might like LinkedIn better, but you get the message. Take your online marketing offline to build relationships with new clients, past clients, and even those you have yet to meet.
After all, you’ve been putting the social media links on your business card and handing those out when you’re out showing homes, right? So take it a step further and have your real estate virtual assistant create and send a personalized invite to join you where you hang out virtually the most! It’s a great way to grow your online community!
And one more thing! Be sure to tell them to invite their friends! That’s how all great parties get started!
