When striving for productivity in my day I used to use a schedule. That’s extremely important for realtors. Without a schedule you are less likely to do the tasks that you need to do to find clients. And I still use a schedule today; however, it isn’t what rules my VA world. My schedule consists of marketing, appointments, client tasks, and that’s about it. I know that every morning when I wake I will check my inbox and analytics, do some marketing for my business, do follow-up and appointments, and my client work is interspersed morning, afternoon, and evening. At this point, you are probably wondering what does rule my world if it’s not that crazy schedule. I’m about to tell you.
What rules my VA world is my checklist. A very detailed checklist. This is the key to productivity in my world. The reason I am sharing this with you is that so very many of you are playing the duel role of agent and assistant. So if you want to fly through those tasks, create a checklist that covers everything.
An example of this would be posting your listings to your social media sites. Instead of just having social media on your checklist, break it down. Social media is the heading. Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, StumbleUpon would be the tasks you do.
So if you are one of the many agents that is “living a double life” make your checklists as detailed as possible to create more efficiency and productivity.
