Today’s real estate market brings with it more informed buyers for certain, and definitely more tech-savvy buyers. How this correlates to your business is entirely up to you, but if you are not providing the services buyers and sellers are looking for your business may be left hanging in the balance.
If you don’t already know it, as it is being blasted from every available online news source possible, there is a social media explosion going on right now. You need to be where your potential clients are, and many are online at one in the morning looking at homes through the social media sites. They find a fan page for a Realtor in the area they are looking to buy or sell in, see the services available and the apps with that agent’s listings, and that’s who they will use.
They want the agent that is there in the same place using the same technology they are already familiar with.
Why don’t you have a photo tour for EVERY listing? Photo tours get more traffic, more hits, and this means more potential buyers. There are many different options out there to create a photo tour and most are quite reasonably priced. A home that has only one or two pictures is going to pale in comparison when compared with a home that has a photo tour.
Are you using phone number capture systems? There are, once again, many options out there and you should not be missing out on those leads. If you do then some one else will be helping them to find their next home, they will be in some other agent’s database, and your seller will be wondering why you aren’t the one showing their home. Don’t put yourself in that position!
Technology is a great way to grow your business, and it is a tool your buyers and sellers will be expecting you to be using.
