As an Associate Broker, and active salesperson, I often wish I could clone myself.
I have spent a large portion of my career trying to get the systems under control, and keep them up to date. When I started as a REALTOR in 2001 there was no such thing as a virtual assistant, but plenty of people had an “assistant” – that assistant was usually their child who put the stickers on the water bottles, or helped them do door hangers.
I bought Top Producer and it sat on my shelf for years. I got so far into the business without setting up my database properly, or my CRM, that I was overwhelmed and overloaded. I sought assistance to build a “team” from various managers and coaches over the years. Plenty of people said they could help me do it, but it never got to where I wanted it to be.

That is until I found List2CloseAssistants and Serita Diana.
I met Serita via Twitter in 2008, one of my earliest Twitter friends. Serita had been a licensed salesperson, and REALTOR, but saw the need for REVA’s. At the time I had an assistant in the office for 10 hours a week, more often than not we kind of just stared at each other, or I came up with a great system to use, we organized it then back to twiddling our thumbs.
After my assistant moved out of state I was back to the same place. With two Buyers agents on my team I was still struggling to figure out the systems. I was so annoyed with my lack of efficiency, or having to stop and deal with phone calls, copies of inspections and last minute scheduling.
I vented on Twitter, Serita shot back “I can help” and I finally let her help me.

The relief was measurable, priceless – literally. With a little training (she trained me, not the other way around) I was soon deeply into her program, she was handling my listing input, image uploads, price changes, addendum’s getting signed, contracts being disseminated where they needed to be, got my marketing materials ordered and so much more.
I Got My Life Back When I Got a Virtual Assistant
All the little things that used to just absorb my prospecting time were now in capable hands. The relief felt great. I could focus on the fun part, building my team, connecting with new clients and hunting for new listing opportunities.
The time that was recovered by making a nominal investment in a REVA was amazing.
